Description:
Pieces of leaves, stems, flower heads, and individual flowers. Color ranges from grayish-green to yellowish-green with yellowish-white, light green, white, reddish-green, and grayish-brown specks. Faint, aromatic odor. The taste of the aqueous extract is spicy, bitter. Yarrow herb contains essential oil (which includes millefolide, chamazulene, α- and β-pinene, borneol, thujone, etc.), flavonoids (rutin, luteolin, etc.), saponins, tannins, polysaccharides, organic acids, vitamins C and K, carotene, macro- and microelements, and other biologically active substances.

Indications for use:
Used as a hemostatic agent for physiological heavy menstrual bleeding (as part of complex therapy), non-heavy bleeding in the post-coagulation period of cervical erosion treatment; spasms of the smooth muscles of the gastrointestinal tract.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to the drug and other plants of the Asteraceae family, pregnancy, children under 12 years of age. Caution: in case of increased blood clotting, thromboembolism (in history).
Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding:
The use of the drug during pregnancy is contraindicated. There is no information about the possibility of biologically active substances of yarrow herb penetrating into breast milk. If it is necessary to use the drug during breastfeeding, the question of discontinuing breastfeeding should be decided.
