Fennel fruits (whole)

Description:

The fruits of common fennel contain essential oil, flavonoids, carotene, vitamin C, and phytoncides. Fennel fruit infusion has a carminative, antispasmodic, and expectorant effect. It has weak diuretic properties and helps increase lactation. The pharmacological properties of the drug are largely due to reflex reactions associated with irritation of the sensitive nerve endings of the gastrointestinal tract and respiratory tract.

Indications for use:
Diseases of the upper respiratory tract, especially dry bronchitis; gastrointestinal diseases accompanied by intestinal spasms, flatulence, dyspeptic symptoms, intestinal pain.
