Prostokvashino 5% cottage cheese is made using a special technology from pasteurized milk and sourdough of lactic acid cultures. After curdling, the whey is separated from the cottage cheese, the product is placed under a press and then cooled. The structure is dense, somewhat dry, with minimal sourness. This cottage cheese is well suited for making syrniki and casseroles.
